Domain Names

Usually, author websites have the author’s name as the domain name. Others have a cute and catchy phrase that identifies them and make them unique. The options are unlimited.

If you already have a domain name, you can use blog.yourname.com as the domain for your blog. Check with your blog account and see how you can do this. It's fun to direct people to your own blog that has your own domain name.

However, if you do not want to have a website or using a blog that has static pages, then your domain name stands by itself. Make sure that the domain name is available. You might not be able to get the one you want, but you can always add something to it to make it unique, or change the .com to .net or other.
